Ignite my inner fire and fill me with energy and love for life.<\/p>\n<p>I am never disappointed by the ever-changing cloud formations, colors, the calm or rough sea that reflects the sunlight, the shoreline full of stones and shells, and the changing air.<\/p>\n<p>Temperature: an alchemical combination to inspire and awaken the senses, mind and inner self. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you may have seen my many sunrise photos.<\/p>\n<p>Surya Namaskar, a soulful prayer to the sun, combining breath movement and asana practice, has many variations and many styles.<\/p>\n<p>Yoga has developed its own Surya Namaskar sequence. You may be familiar with one or several. It is considered a prayer to the sun.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-9683 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/puja-yoga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/surya-the-sun-god.png?resize=340%2C447&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"447\" \/><\/p>\n<p>God in the yogic tradition.<br \/>\nIndia is full of amazing legends and intricate stories about infinite gods, goddesses and all<br \/>\ntheir relationships.<\/p>\n<p>There are also overlapping stories as to what the real story of Surya is and he is a<br \/>\ninfinitely interesting discovery to learn about all this tradition.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a bit about Lord Surya riding a seven-horse chariot at immense speed across the sky. This is Hindu tradition.<\/p>\n<p>The chariot is driven by Arjun, who is one of the two main characters in the Bhagava Gita.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some of what the 7 horses mean:<br \/>\nseven days of the week, the seven colors of the rainbow and the seven chakras.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some other meanings of the number 7 in general and from another tradition dear to my heart:<br \/>\nthere are 7 continents on our planet and in the Native American Lakota<\/p>\n<p>The tradition there are seven sacred directions, including the four cardinal ones.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6598 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/puja-yoga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6364.jpeg?resize=298%2C398&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Directions, the earth, the sky and the heart, connecting us all with the sacred directions.<\/p>\n<p>I love seeing how different cultures and traditions overlap. I see a lot of this with the East Indian traditions, Buddhists,<\/p>\n<p>Traditions and traditions of the Native Americans. Surya, the god of the sun like Apollo in the Greek tradition was also venerated, as in most cultures throughout history.<\/p>\n<p>The sun is something that unites us all in its life-giving properties.<\/p>\n<p>The sun, the center of our solar system, is part of what makes life possible on our planet and is without a doubt something to honor, adore, contemplate and understand from its life-giving properties to its value in so many cultures and traditions throughout. of history here on our planet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jai Surya!
